Bands Battling Poverty Fundraiser

The Bands Battling Poverty was a great success for Community Catapult's first fundraiser.

"I want to thank you all for the support and work with Bands Battling Poverty. It was awesome. Many people helped make it a success and I cannot thank you enough for making a dream come true. A great time was had by everyone who attended and the performances were fantastic. I will share the pictures when I get them. Many people asked when we were having the next one and many voiced great appreciation for what we are doing. All great signs that the momentum we asked for has begun." Doug Hiltz, Founder of Community Catapult.

Jason Gilmore, owner operator of Afterhours DJ asked that we let everyone know of a commitment he has made to Community Catapult. Jason has agreed to donate 10% of any show he does from this point on. Not just for the shows obtained through BBP but from any show including weddings.

Thank you Jamila B, Mike Maas, Tommy Gunn, Samira for the great entertainment and John Olchowecki (surprise performance)for closing the night off with Elvis. Additional thanks to Melissa, a big Tommy Gunn fan from Little Bethel Community Church, who last minute offered her experience as MC for Bands Battling Poverty. She did a great job MCing.
